Oh hello, Monday.
Let’s take some mindful moments before we start our day.
This little Monday Mindfulness series is a chance for me to give space to take a pause, share thoughts and things that I’ve been loving and appreciate the little moments in life.
I haven’t been able to post much between sick kids and a busy travel schedule for work, but we are all on the mend and moving forward.
Last year I took Mindfulness classes through UCLA and I’m re-taking the basics class again this month. There’s so much to take in and I’m always learning something new. I love hearing about other people’s perspective on different situations and I’m constantly discovering different ways to incorporate mindfulness into my daily life.
MINDFUL STYLE + BEAUTY
I discovered Sskeo Designs last summer when I was looking for ethical slides for an upcoming beach vacation and stumbled across this amazing company that uses fashion to create opportunity and community for women across the world and right here at home.

The Spring/Summer line just launched today and I’m so excited to get my samples! I’ll be doing an unboxing and posting it soon! <3
I posted about Ecotribe’s stainless steel on my Instagram here and here. This is one product that I always try to have on me at all times, especially when I’m out with the girls. It’s a huge step in the right direction that California recently is restricting single-use plastic straws at full-service restaurants unless specifically asked for by the customer. A lot of places are now offering paper straws as an alternative, which is better for the environment, but not great for toddlers that like to chew on everything! Em pretty quickly flattens the paper straws before she can finish her drink, so stainless steel straws are a much better option for them! Plus, I love using Ecotibe straws for my morning smoothies 🙂
It’s been 3 weeks now that I’ve been preparing and cooking meals from Purple Carros and I can honestly say that while there may have been a couple dishes that I didn’t really care for, the rest of them have been pretty tasty! It’s made me realize how much I missed cooking (and wish had more time for it!) and I’ve discovered some great vegan dishes that I wouldn’t have tried before! I highly recommend if you’re looking for a higher protein, vegan meal service!
