This little Monday Mindfulness series is a chance for me to give space to take a pause, share thoughts and things that I’ve been loving and appreciate the little moments in life.
This book is beautifully designed and has thoughtful prompts with reflection and action steps for you to take to inspire happiness and cultivate a mindfulness and gratitude practice. I love putting my thoughts on to paper and sometimes have a hard time thinking of what to write, so I appreciate the mindful questions and it allows me the time to think about the people, things, places, etc that bring me joy. I purchased a Stasher Bag for myself last summer that I’ve been using to hold snacks for work and just purchased a couple more during the holidays for Ri and Em to use. These are great for replacing ziplock bags and are perfect for keeping pre-cut vegetables, leftovers, or using small snacks for lunches. I really like these because the zipper works surprisingly well & I really feel like it does a great job of keeping food airtight.

Early last year, I made a commitment to myself to cut out added sugars. I did really well up until our Europe trip in November – I couldn’t not eat all the yummy Parisian pastries 😉 I’m slowly trying to adjust to eating cleaner and adding more fruits in my diet to curb my sugar cravings. Apples + almond butter are a definite go-to snack when I need something sweet! What’s yours?
