Domaine Carneros – Napa Valley, CA

Oh hello, Monday.

Let’s take some mindful moments before we end our day.

This little Monday Mindfulness series is a chance for me to give space to take a pause, share thoughts and things that I’ve been loving and appreciate the little moments in life.

I just returned from a long weekend trip to wine country with my husband and our best friends. It felt nice to be together, laugh, and have important and meaningful conversations <3

// Believe in Yourself

… even when no one else does.

A couple of years ago, I didn’t have the courage to speak my truth or even fight for what I believe was right for me and my family. I was so afraid to be vulnerable and always let other people’s beliefs influence my own – scared of “not being enough” or that people wouldn’t like me. I truly believe that the inner work that I’ve done the last couple of years have shaped my life for the better – I have so much compassion for myself and for others. I care about others so much (I’m an empath!) but I also care and believe in myself. Mindfulness has taught me so much about the power self-awareness and being present and I’ve found the feeling of freedom and peace that I didn’t even know I’d been missing. Whatever life throws at you, good or bad, easy/tough – believe in yourself and you will be unstoppable <3

// Polène Numéro Un Mini

I first saw this purse on Instagram and immediately fell in love with the design and color (there are many options!) I love this mini style in particular because it’s super understated but very elegant – I love the gold chain detail and the fact that you can wear it as a crossbody or shoulder bag. The bags are made in a high-end factory in Spain and the leather that they use are of high-quality – “Such quality of leather guarantees our pieces are long lasting, as well as an excellent touch and visual finish.” I appreciate well-made, investment pieces, that will last me for years to come.

// Daylight Savings

This photo was taken in my living room at almost 6pm and there was still light out!! If you haven’t noticed, I LOVE natural light, so when daylight savings comes in the Spring, I take the opportunity to keep our windows open to let in the natural light. It saves on having to turn on the lights and on sunny cooler days, the sunlight that shines through the windows helps to heat the inside space. Plus, I love staring out the window and as I tell my husband, I love letting people “see us live!”

// Hot Cinnamon Sunset Tea

After indulging this past weekend in Napa (lots of wine, coffee, and sweets!), I could feel my body start to take a toll. So this afternoon, I opted for this Hot Cinnamon tea and it’s the perfect drink for when you need a little boost and helps curb sugar cravings – it’s so good!

// Ri + Em

My mom took this photo of the girls this weekend while we were away and I think it perfectly captures their very different personalities. My sweet girls <3
